Metrobank’s designmycard is an exciting way to personalize your Metrobank credit card. It provides an added personality when you use your card.

How do I create my own card?

To create your own card, simply visit designmycard.com.ph and follow the provided instructions. You may use the templates or upload your own image. Images are subject to the image guidelines

Can anyone create a Metrobank designmycard?

Yes, whether you are an existing cardholder of a Metrobank credit card, or would like to apply for a new Metrobank VISA/MasterCard credit card, just follow the directions on designmycard.com.ph to create your Metrobank designmycard. Applicable fees will apply.

Can my supplementary cardholders create their own designmycard?

Yes, your supplementary cardholders can also create their own Metrobank designmycard by visiting designmycard.com.ph. Applicable fees will apply.

Do all cards on my account have the same image?

No, your cards do not have to. You may select the design of each of your Metrobank credit card.

Will my existing Metrobank credit card number or PIN change once I request for a Metrobank designmycard?

No. Only the image of the Metrobank credit card will change. Your card number and PIN and all other features of the card will remain the same. Both cards will be valid. We do suggest that you destroy your old card once you receive your new Metrobank designmycard.

What if I am not happy with my design?

The confirmation page at the end of the process will show you exactly what your card will look like. If you do not like it, just go through the design process again. There are no costs for creating a design. The cost for ordering the actual card is P450.00 per approved card.

Can I edit my uploaded image?

Yes, you can. The designmycard image designer enables you to:

  • Change the size of your image
  • Rotate your image
  • Create a mirror image
  • Place the image where you want it to be

The quality of the image will be dependent on the image you uploaded. Metrobank will not adjust the picture. What you designed is what will appear on the card.

Metrobank, however, may change the colors of the logos to make this more visible and provide added security.

What if my image is rejected?

Your image will be rejected if it does not meet our Image Guidelines.

If you receive an email advising that your image has been rejected, simply follow the instructions provided in the email to redesign your card using a new image of your own or one from our image library. You will not be charged a fee for a rejected image.

How often can I change the image on my Metrobank designmycard?

You may change the image on your Metrobank designmycard as often as you like. For every approved image, a P450.00 fee will be charged to your account.

What is the format and size of my picture before it can be uploaded?

  • Picture files can either be a JPEG (*.jpg, *.jpeg), bitmap (*.bmp), GIF (*.gif) or TIFF (*tiff) formats.
  • The file size needs to be a minimum size of 50KB (kilobytes), maximum 3MB (megabytes) and at least 480x480 pixels. For best results use larger images with higher resolutions.

Does it take long to upload pictures?

The length of time it will take to upload your picture will depend on the file size and on your modem capacity. On most modems, each megabyte will take approximately three minutes to upload.

Will the merchants accept my Metrobank designmycard?

Yes, they should accept the card as long as they are an accredited VISA or MasterCard merchant. Your Metrobank designmycard works just like your regular Metrobank credit card. If a merchant does not accept it, just explain that it's a Metrobank designmycard.

How much are the applicable fees?

Each approved Metrobank designmycard will be charged P450.00. This will be billed to the account of the cardholder.
